The process

Process Overview:

Blister Separation: The machine begins by separating pre-formed blisters, which are manually filled by operators.
Automated Placement: A Stäubli robot then places the filled blisters into the machine for further processing.
Vision Checks: Multiple vision systems meticulously check for component presence, perform OCR, and verify accuracy, ensuring consistently high product quality.
Patient Card Handling: After the initial inspection, the machine automatically adds a printed and verified patient card.
Lid Management: Lids are automatically separated, printed, placed, and verified before sealing.
Sealing and Sorting: Once sealed, the Stäubli robot removes the finished blister packs from the machine, ready for further processing.

The BAP-C Rotary Sealer is a blister sealer solution with additional automation. Based on GTE’s proven technology and decades of expertise, the BAP-C is specially designed for larger blister formats and high-output production, and tailored to the requirements of medical and pharmaceutical production in cleanroom environments in accordance with GMP.

The BAP-C Rotary Sealer builds on GTE’s extensive experience in blister sealing technology and is the successor to the NX-B Rotary Sealer.
