Workshop GTE - assembly machines

Tailor-made solutions for the medical industry

GTE Engineering designs and produces efficient machines for the medical and pharmaceutical industries. We share our knowledge with you as our customer and develop the perfect tailor-made solution to fit your need or the required automation process. Want to find out what we can do for you?

Discover the advantages of the GTE Platforms

A modular platform that can be extended and assembled to your liking: that is what makes the GTE Platforms unique. The LAP-L is an example of a platform. With the LAP-L, we can meet all your production and packaging needs. The linear platform can be easily extended with docking stations and modules to suit your needs.

Project Management

Together, we realise the solution to your question. We assess your needs and draw up our User Requirement Specification together. Of course, we can also develop a machine based on an existing URS.

Combine and expand

Combining several machines to create a packaging, production, or assembly line is an option. Individual parts or assembled products, packed in primary or secondary packaging or a shipper box.

At GTE Engineering, we aim for quality and robustness. That is why all of our machines are thoroughly tested before leaving our factory, and why we only use materials of the finest quality.

Demonstrated expertise

Over the years, we have designed and developed many different machines for even more intended purposes. From semi-automatic filling of primary and secondary packaging to fully automatic assembly, printing and packaging of syringes and other medical devices. We have seen it all.

GTE Engineering – our story

Founded in 2000, GTE Engineering aims to design and produce tailor-made solutions for anyone with an automation issue. Over the years, our focus shifted towards the medical and pharmaceutical industries, because of its demand for high mix, low volume machines. This focus led to GTE’s specialisation in assembly and packaging automation.

3D printing in engineering– thinking out of the box

Years ago, in 2001, GTE engineering embraced 3D printing for the creation process of its exclusive machines. Until then it was science fiction. Today we can no longer live without it. How do we use 3D printing at GTE and what advantages does it have?

Considerations when selecting reputable machine developers

What factors should you consider when selecting a machine builder? Do they meet the stringent quality standards of the medical industry? While there are numerous legal regulations in place to ensure machine and product quality, it’s crucial that machine designers and builders are cognizant of these requirements. Additionally, take into account three key factors that can impact both the machine and your product’s quality: the human factor, the product design, and the proficiency of the machine builder.

Accepting downtime is a mortal sin!

Everyone knows that companies are all about production, or ‘adding value’. Value is everything the customer needs and pays for. All other activities support this. That’s why it’s so strange that unplanned downtime is so quickly accepted and seen as ‘normal’. Many companies are not aware of how often the production line comes to a standstill. People quickly get used to it and accept downtime on a production or assembly line. However, a production line coming to a standstill is disastrous for the organization. If no value is added, the entire organization comes to a standstill.
