Tamper Evidence

Guaranteeing pharmaceutical companies and patients that their product or medicine hasn’t been tempered with is a key part of the medical and pharmaceutical industries. That’s why there are several Tamper Evidence solutions. Tamper Evidence denotes a visible indication showing whether the packaging has been opened. Think of an edge you need to tear to open a top-loaded box the first time or a sticker or seal that needs to be broken or peeled off.

Security with Tamper Evidence

By using a Tamper Evidence solution, you build in an extra level of assurance for your buyers. There are several ways in which this assurance can be integrated into your products. One such solution is a tear-off edge on a box. Our LAP-C or LAP-L platforms can fully automate the folding and gluing of this Tamper Evidence indication. If you’re using the LAP-L Platform, you could even fully automate filling the box with its products.

Additionally, take into account three key factors that can impact both the machine and your product’s quality: the human factor, the product design, and the proficiency of the machine builder.

Accepting downtime is a mortal sin!

Everyone knows that companies are all about production, or ‘adding value’. Value is everything the customer needs and pays for. All other activities support this. That’s why it’s so strange that unplanned downtime is so quickly accepted and seen as ‘normal’. Many companies are not aware of how often the production line comes to a standstill. People quickly get used to it and accept downtime on a production or assembly line. However, a production line coming to a standstill is disastrous for the organization. If no value is added, the entire organization comes to a standstill.
